A lil Poem!!

First day at school, first sight of the English teacher,
and next day you are the love preacher.

Next you fall in love with the first girl you talk,
and start learning from childhood how to stalk

you notice her every move, her every chat,
who she talks with , with whom she sat.

you add her on gtalk, yahoo and facebook,
even take the same tuitions as she took.

Slowly and surely you become friends,
but you are just one in a list of thousands.

Then you move to college which your hopes high,
you see competition is tougher.Sigh!!

You send a SOS friends, to find Miss right,
You need the hard disk night after night ;)

You ask your friends to propose from your side,
one of them is daring, other finds laith machine to hide.

With all courage in the world you go and propose,
in front of hundreds with a bunch of rose.

She says nothing, but her brother gets mad,
you get a tight slap, tighest have ever had.

You go and propose your childhood friend,
little sceptic as your friendship too can end.

You have a breakup and someone new comes into your Kholi,
her lips remind you of Angelina Jolie ;)

You are happy that IIT is tough,
as if you havent had religious names enough ;)

he is CK, not the Calvin Cleen,
with only girls was this guy seen.

he like matchsticks, nothing to do with smoke,
play it slow man, you have a bike not a ferrari 8 stroke :)

he likes every girl in the MMM group,
it wasnt a city but a whole drama troup.

he liked one, with the donald duck walk,
took 3 years to do the first talk :)

PS - 1. Not everything written is intended for everyone. So if you dont unerstand something, its not your fault.
2. Some people might find it familiar, its not unintentional ;).

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish!!

This has nothing to do with the book but with Steve Jobs' Stanford speech. He told you few stories, I will do the same.

The first story is about connecting the dots.
Like him i too wasnt interested in whatever was taught in college. So I bunked classes and did what i found interesting i.e. play cricket, play quake. It was great. Those frags, scoring flags, holy shits everything. those cricket fights, that passion to prevent every run scored. But looking back now I think it was the stupidest thing i ever did. I completely wasted those 4 years doing something that's never gonna do any good to me in future. So though Steve Jobs says it difficult to connect dots looking forward, i would say its neccessary to connect dots looking forward. You can connect dots looking backward only if you drop out of college and still study. But according to me if you are bunking college , studies is the last thing on your mind ;).

His second story was about "Love and Loss".
He found early what he loved doing, I havent. I even dont know what I love doing( May be just sitting on a sofa watching cricket on a giant 50" TV with a McDonals burger in hand and a alrge Coke..yeah that might be it). Anyways i never knew what i wanted to do, but certainly knew what i didnt want to do. Waking up early, working late, lots of meetings and formal attire was certainly on my list. And guess what...I am doing all that and for 2 years now. So again it goes back to the first story, If I would have not wasted those 4 years...

Any Steve Jobs lovers dont take me wrong, I am not trying to make fun of what he said. That was one of the most inspriring speeches you will ever hear. And he is the greatest innovator world has seen, its just some people dont have the courage to follow their heart and throughout their lives will blame it on luck for what they are doing.
Neither is this blog written out of frustation, I am fairly happy with my life...but its certainly not what I love doing :D.

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."-Steve Jobs
